Lilach for Work · Discipline modules overview
Five disciplines, one engine
Per locked Decision 07 — we build ALL engineering disciplines, not just geotech. Same engine, same skills foundation, discipline-specific report types and standards overlay on top.
7 June 2026 · 1 done · 4 to build · all share the same engine
1. Geotechnical
BUILT · DEMO A SHIPPING
Report types built
- Investigation report (factual + interpretive)
- Site description, stratigraphy, lab summary
- AS 2870 site classification (always flag)
- AS 3798 earthworks framework
- Site classification report (residential lots)
- Footing/pad inspection reports
- Earthworks Level 1/2 supervision letters
Standards stack
- AS 1726-2017 · site investigations
- AS 1289 series · soil testing methods
- AS 2870-2011 · residential slabs (flag)
- AS 3798-2007 · earthworks
- AS 2159-2009 · piling
- Qld TMR Geotechnical Investigations Guideline
- Austroads Pavement Technology
Wedge angle: AS 1726 logs-to-stratigraphy-prose transform (the showcase). Naive LLM invents "typical" ranges; ours derives from the actual CSV rows.
2. Structural
TO BUILD · #176
Report types to add
- Structural design report / design certificate package
- Certification letters (Form 15 / 12 Qld · DCD NSW · WA CDC)
- Structural inspection / condition assessment (AS 4349.1)
- Dilapidation reports (photo-heavy, per-property batch)
- Remedial / structural investigation (defects, cracking)
- Safe Design report (WHS Reg s.295)
Standards stack
- NCC (National Construction Code)
- AS 3600-2018 · concrete structures
- AS 4100-2020 · steel structures
- AS 3700-2018 · masonry structures
- AS 1170 series · structural design actions
- AS 4349.1-2007 · property inspections
- DBP Act 2020 (NSW) · registered practitioner regimes
- Building Act 1975 (Qld) Forms 15 + 12
Wedge angle: Form 15/12 + DCD certification letters use locked statutory text — drafter fills the named fields only, never paraphrases the certification clause. Practitioner registration number = critical flag.
3. Civil / drainage
TO BUILD · #177
Report types to add
- Subdivision engineering design report (IPWEA WA Ed 3.1)
- Stormwater management plan (ARR 2019 · council DCP)
- Urban water management plan (WA-specific)
- Flood study / drainage assessment
- Pavement design report (Austroads)
- Engineering certification for subdivision clearance letters
Standards stack
- ARR 2019 · Australian Rainfall & Runoff
- IPWEA WA Local Government Guidelines Ed 3.1
- Per-council DCPs (Karratha · Kalamunda · Armadale etc)
- Austroads Guide to Pavement Technology
- SMA Stormwater Planning Guidelines (SA)
- WAPC Better Urban Water Management
Wedge angle: ARR 2019 nomenclature consistency (AEP not ARI · BOM IFD for rainfall · cited climate scenario) — naive LLM defaults to pre-2016 idioms and invents runoff coefficients. Council DCP variation handled per-LGA.
4. Traffic
TO BUILD · #178
Report types to add
- Traffic Impact Statement (TIS) · 10-100 vph developments
- Traffic Impact Assessment (TIA) · >100 vph
- Parking demand assessment
- Swept path / access review memos
- Road safety audit
Standards stack
- WAPC Transport Impact Assessment Guidelines (2016)
- Qld TMR Guide to Traffic Impact Assessment (2017)
- TfNSW TS 00085 transport impact guide (2025)
- AS 2890.1-2004 · off-street parking
- AS 2890.2-2018 · off-street commercial
- Austroads Guide to Traffic Management (parts)
- SIDRA modelling outputs → prose
Wedge angle: SIDRA model outputs → conformance prose is repetitive and dull — drafter pulls the LoS / DoS / queue numbers correctly, never invents. Trip-threshold logic (10-100 vph TIS · >100 TIA) auto-applies per project size.
5. Environmental / contaminated land
TO BUILD · #179
Report types to add
- Preliminary Site Investigation (PSI · EPA Table 2.1)
- Sampling & Analysis Quality Plan (SAQP · Table 2.2)
- Detailed Site Investigation (DSI · Table 2.3)
- Site-specific risk assessment (Table 2.4)
- Remedial Action Plan (RAP · Table 2.5)
- Remediation & validation (Table 2.6)
- Ongoing monitoring (Table 2.8 · recurring)
- Waste classification (EPA Box 3)
Standards stack
- NSW EPA Consultants Reporting on Contaminated Land (Apr 2020)
- ASC NEPM 1999 · national assessment framework
- NEPM Schedule B1-B7 trigger values
- EPBC Act 1999 (Cth) · matters of national env. significance
- State biodiversity acts (NSW · QLD · WA · VIC)
- DCCEEW survey/data currency rules
Wedge angle: The NSW EPA section skeletons are PUBLISHED by the regulator — zero guesswork on structure. Naive LLM combines section headings; ours follows Table 2.1 verbatim. CSM + DQOs + QA/QC sections never omitted.
Shared engine — built once, used by all 5

What each new discipline needs
Per discipline (4 needed): roughly 250-400 lines of new content total.
- 3-6 new discipline writing skills (~150-200 lines each) — e.g. AS 3600 concrete structures · NCC Class structural rules · AS 2890 parking layout · NSW EPA NEPM trigger handling
- 1-2 report-type section skeletons (existing playbook skills 15-20 cover the major types) — define section order + per-section briefs for the new report types
- 1 sample fixture set (CSVs + brief + voice notes) realistic for the discipline · for testing only · invented project
- Manual template calibration per onboarded firm in that discipline (half-day per template per Decision 09)
Estimated build time per discipline: 1-1.5 sessions for skills + skeletons + fixtures. Templates calibrated as firms onboard.
